The Universe And It's Inhabitants

What does the universe consist of? Is it far off galaxies, millions of stars and the solar system?..or is it something beyond our wildest imaginations?...humans can only know so much before they are restricted by the bonds of science. The universe can be categorized as endless or seemingly limited. We are a part of the universe, a very minor part. We inhibit a planet called earth which is completely unique from all other planets in the solar system. Earth not only looks different, it is the only planet with an atmosphere than can retain human life; it has water, and gets just the right amount of sunlight as it is equidistant from the sun. There are 7 other planets that revolve around a giant magnet, we call the sun. The planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune (not included Pluto due to the non-existence of the planet). Each have their share of unique features. But, there are yet many things we don’t know about the universe. For scientists, the universe is said to be an endless array of galaxies and integrated solar systems, for normal humans, it’s a sign. We have all heard the common phrase “The universe wanted it this way”. This phrase is used to signify fate and the on goings of our planet and every planet surrounding us, or it can just be a push-me up for people who are scared to take challenges and moreover scared to face the consequences. But the universe can be seen as an endless space, constant through time and never changing. While some believe that the universe is the root of all existence, the others believe that the universe is nothing but a small part of this huge expanding phenomenon we call space.  The big bang theory is said to be the prevailing cosmological model that describes the early development of the Universe, which is calculated to have begun 0.037 billion years ago, observations by scientists have shown that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. Thus,  as the universe keeps expanding, we keep on discovering more and more about the universe and it’s wondrous quirks.
