Up's way of showing love..

I recently saw one of the cutest movies made by Pixar. I had been planning to see this emotional masterpiece for a few days now, so I finally clicked that download button and believe me...one of the best decisions I have ever made...and I see a hell lot of movies so I know a good one when I see one.
The protagonist's nature throughout the first half of the movie was that of a typical old man, Carl was grumpy, out of sorts and overtly attached to his house.

His reason was what made me go on through the movie...my curiosity was peaked as the love story of Ellie and Carl unraveled right there before my eyes. From childhood to old age theirs was one of those pure relationships showing that when two people are right for each other they live this almost seamlessly uncomplicated life.
Showing that two people having almost no materialistic pleasures in life and having menial jobs could be well....HAPPY!!. It was astonishing really.Their introduction to each other was through one source of interest "Paradise Falls and the journey of their favorite explorer Charles F.Muntz".And from there it was just a journey of love and compassion and more importantly of having absolutely no overt expectations from one another.

I mean here we are placing our priorities in a way that leads to us neglecting the people who love us most and not even realizing it and there, two animated characters made out of nothing but pixels show us how to live. What have our lives come to?

Have we really reached the point of our existence where we value an iPhone more than a person?..a chat more than a conversation?..a selfie more than a picture? I guess so. This movie has literally shown me an alternate reality where people really know how to maintain and cherish each other..no matter how small or insignificant their contributions might be.

The whole story kind of revolves around Carl and how he handles his relationships. His meeting with Russel, a rather chubby boy scout leading to a beautiful journey to Paradise Falls.

From the progressing plot line it led to the introduction of Doug(the automated talking dog) and Kevin(a rare blue bird which somehow likes chocolate).Russell throughout the whole movie made a very dominant impact on Carl's life. He,full of life and excitement and Carl, who was stuck to the memories of the sunshiny days and blissful nights with Ellie and thought that the only way to reconnect to her was to go to Paradise Falls and take their "specially designed" house there.

Another aspect was the portrayal of disappointing realizations. When Carl finally did meet Charles Muntz,he turned out to be a evil man and nothing like what Carl and Ellie had idolized. It gave us a sense that no matter how people looked like from the surface and how we thought they were as human beings....our perceptions..could be completely wrong. And how this could lead to a moment of clarity for both the person looking and the person receiving this perception.

The meeting of Russell and Carl led to the beginning of a wonderful relationship which led Carl to believe that he could love again, that he could come out of his shell and see that there were other good people(and animals) who deserved his compassion, that love was never too far..only there were varieties. The journey itself was mesmerizing followed by the immaculate graphics of Pixar films.

All in all...a tremendously well written script, beautiful characters and even more amazing portrayal of pure and simplistic relationships.

Enough of this rant.Go see this gem of a movie.

P.S- I know it's been a long time since I've written much of anything but I hope this HUGE post covers it..:P.And seriously guys, see the movie. It's absolutely worth your time.

Signing Off....Kwaheri..my technologically blinded humans.
