Florence and The Machine...never Cease to Surprise me!!

This is one band that I don’t hear that often…but it is the only one that contains that surprise element. Why am I writing about this today??...simple…I saw the end credits of snow white and the huntsman..stupid movie but an AWESOME credits song. I mean I was completely mesmerized. And I have not heard many songs that intrigue me like this particular song did. Firstly  the background music is done by an orchestra..I mean how cool is that?..the whole song consists of Florence singing  backed up with a massive orchestra(like full on 50 members or more..at least that’s what I saw on the video) . It’s kind of like  emo pop..but not emo pop at the same time….I can’t really explain it. The song is called….breath of life. It was made for the movie as a part of the major motion soundtrack..but I think that was a complete waste of a good song. I mean this song would be like Sweet Nothing…an immense hit (if not put into this ridiculous movie..I mean the movie itself is not up to par…except for the role of the evil queen played by Charlize Theron..she is like my favourite evil queen…I mean from all the versions I have read and seen..she is by far the best)..anyway..this song sounded way too important to be ignored..thus, it lead me to another Florence and the machine masterpiece. And I am glad I checked it out….was totally worth my time.  Anyway, many of you may think that this post was completely useless…it may be but that doesn’t mean I won’t write about it!!..it was a monumental event for me if not for others..as I found a new song…something to hum when I’m bored..something to hear when Im depressed. Okay…getting deep here…ending this post now…
