Unit tests and Mid-terms seperate..terrifying.Unit tests and Mid-terms together??...Disastrous

People tell me “Arey tu to maze kar rhi hai ghar par..hum sab exams deke phas gaye…bilkul right time pey Jaundice hua hai”…are you freakin kidding me??...I mean do people really think that jaundice is fun??...just because I got it during my mid-terms..I’m supposed to be lucky. Well to that I say….people have finally lost their common sense…I mean yeah I didn't give my exams and all I had to give in return was my functional liver and all the food I ever liked and give blood tests every week..until  the doctor told me that I have less hemoglobin in my body..that’s all..such a small sacrifice for such a big reward..right people?? . Now, I had to give my exams AND my unit tests together…and it was mortifying. I hardly had time to breath rather do anything else. When I had finished prepping for my first mid-term…I thought…oh well, now I can relax for awhile…but oh no…no relaxing for Basu….I remembered that I had a u.t the next day too..and all freaking hell broke loose….I was revising both at the same time and ended up more than exhausted than ever before. And on top of that I have tuitions four days in a week. So how can a normal person learn how to breath with the 2.2 seconds they have left??...learn from me…as I have to do this for the past 2 weeks. I couldn't get my head straight on anything else and felt like I was losing time. And the time span between 2 retests was not more than 2 days…with and English and maths u.t in the middle. And the cherry on the top of the cake was…when I left in the morning to give my second last mid-term which was English.. I was happy..that I was soooo close to the finish line…but…the bus didn't arrive to pick me up from my stop…so I called the driver. To my question that why didn't he arrive on time..he said that there were no orders that children were coming that day..that only teachers were going to come. To that I said “WHAT!!!..how can this happen??..I have A FREAKIN EXAM TODAY!!”….he said that there were no orders from the transport office and I had to go to another stop to catch the bus. Then when I reached school I encountered another problem….the teachers apparently thought that it was a french mid-term and not English!!...i was frustrated, angry and ten other emotions I cannot quite describe. I said that I had learnt English because that was the date sheet given to me!!...after  a lot of argument and discussion…they decided to give me the English mid-term paper. All this happened in one day. The midst of confusion and problems didn't seem to leave me….but thankfully…after that day all went well and I gave my last mid-term today..and…it’s finally over!!...Yes!!..I am exam free like the rest of you!!!

P.S-Do you guys still think that getting jaundice at that time like that was a good idea??..I suffered a LOT more than you guys did…but all’s well that ends well!!....I know this post is late..but I had more important things to take care of…as mentioned in my post…

Signing Off…..Goodbye….weird humans…

  1. Last year, I had to give a maths retest.
And I know the hell I went through, constantly revising in every free moment I had. And because it was maths, it was never ending. There were always more books, more sample papers.
I almost died with stress. From ONE paper.
Akanksha. Hats off to you. Honestly. Like taaliyaan. Sachi.
