Reasons To Love Kolkata(though I don't need any)
By the amount of green I saw in Kolkata(from above, when the plane was landing that is).....I was actually glad and shocked at the same time...people say that Gurgaon is green...I say bullshit...Kolkata is green...and when the green pastures appeared before my very eyes......I sang.No...Im not kidding I actually sang the song "I see trees of green"...though silently and to myself...I actually cannot measure the happiness I feel when I see the Kolkata...the streets..the small and otherwise insignificant gullies...the grocery shops.....where you can get anything from cloth to sugar. Where do I get to see the little things that make this particular city...the city I love and adore.....though there are hundreds of reasons to love Kolkata even if your not from here.Firstly...the food...you can get a week's worth of wholesome food with just 500 bucks. Is it even possible to think...that 500 bucks is enough in Gurgaon?...you would'nt last two days.Secondly the people...they seem to have the most extreme personalities...if they are happy they will treat you as a loved one and god forbid if they are angry they would almost find a way to kill you(NOT exaggerating)....but most of all this city has one thing which is rare in any city in the world....a welcoming feel...anybody and everybody who comes to Kolkata loves this city with all his/her heart. So, I am immensly proud to be born here and would come back home in a heartbeat given the chance....but as of right know Im stuck in gurgaon(or as I call it hellhole).
P.S- all those who have been to Kolkata before...i would love to hear your views on this city...and those who have'nt....I suggest you give this city a try.....because I assure you that you won't regret it.
Signing Off.....Namashkar my fellow humans...
