The Intentions Unseen...

As I watched the sun go down
As I watched the lights fade out
I came from what seemed like
underground
To the new world
That I had found.


Never had I felt so free
Never had someone let me be
Than now when I had
taken my voice
and bashed what seemed like
brutal serenity.


The catastrophe that is life
seemed to be my only vice
and then I found my ground at last
and felt my frown falter fast


As I had found
what none had known
a secret path to the throne
that all I did was raise my voice
and felt the change to my rejoice


What he rambled on and on
was a crazy verse to my song
and finally when he took his bow
and struck me
took his final tow
I realized what I had been
just a being with feelings unseen.


Then finally I said "No More"
and bolted through that wooden door
took an axe with lustrous sheen
and struck him hard
till I screamed.


A sudden start
was that morning next
when I saw
I was at rest
and all of it had been a dream
and then,
I found he was the same
and my intentions became
strong again.
