A Bittersweet Experience...
Yes,this is again an MUN post...
Don't blame me,I'm going to a lot of these things nowadays...
Well, for starters I got a Continuous Crisis Committee yet again. This time,I was a part of the primary intelligence agency of the Government of India, namely RAW( The Research and Analysis Wing).I was the first rank on it's historic index The Chief Of General Army Staff,my job was to make sure that my army was at the right place at the right time...all the time. For that,I had to take information from my surrounding delegates or in this case ambassadors about the whereabouts of the terrorists who were planning a well integrated attack on Mumbai. Day 1 comprised of a hell of a lot of updates..every update linking to the next one in some inscrutable way. They ranged from terms used in conversations and messages all over the southeast Asian territories specializing in Northwest India to the kidnapping of the daughter of The Cama hospital's owner(Cama hospital being one of the most well known hospitals of Mumbai.).These updates were a pathway to the inner mechanisms of the minds of the terrorists carrying out the frivolous operation of harming our country's civilians. The whole committee buzzed with this intense storm of tension and deliberation, with people going beyond their research and peeking into the mindsets of the terrorists themselves.Even though this was just a simulation of what could be The Research and Analysis Wing...it sure did feel like the real deal.Delegates representing different posts not only took care of their own portfolios but also saw to it that the committee remained unanimous and focused on one thing disregarding interior conflicts. While some showed unmatched enthusiasm during their directional speeches(leading to fits of laughter from the delegates as well as the EB...yes,I'm talking about you Deputy Field Officer.)others were phenomenal with their geographical positionings making sure that the terrorists were well surrounded.Though there was a big negative aspect of the first day being that the updates had to explained in painful details which followed a range of stupid questions that were deemed completely unnecessary..the flow of debate nevertheless slow was impeccable.
I just realized that this is gonna be a hella long post..so continuation in Part 2.
