My 3rd Attempt...with a Minuscule Difference.

Another event fades.Another MUN finishes..and I feel...good!!.This MUN was my 3rd and my best.I actually won something this time!..I didn't expect it at all.I went to this MUN like I went to all the others,to put up a good debate and have all the fun I possibly could.But surprisingly,I got a special mention for my continuing diplomacy in the committee.Me..yes, I was diplomatic..a person with an extremely big mouth and words to match(or so people say..).I was a member of one of the most violent,highly radioactive and boomeranging political committees of China and it was freaking daunting..and to keep my predisposed thoughts about how my perspective would work throughout the timeline of the committee was really challenging..and to think I got my committee on Friday, I believe my hands were pretty full.When people all around were on the brink of breaking all relations with the country they shared their border with..and were going "WAR,WAR..kill all mortals who dare to defy our land!!"..I was in a total time warp,I saw myself being transported to one of those medieval viking battles with catapults and ancient bows and arrows.When the 17 other delegates(well in this case comrades) in the same standing committee were hellbent on having a bloodbath between the 2 largest democracies..I was the puny one asking for peace and the welfare of the Chinese citizens who would have been mercilessly massacred if this continued. All in all...being in a crisis committee did not give me a second's time to even breath without thinking of the latest dreadful update which would soon befall upon us..and leave us tethered between decisions that would effect not only our nation but the adjoining one as well.One thing I did realize though is..I have to be in a certain amount of pressure to perform well,otherwise I just procrastinate and let the task in hand go.Thus,another good experience added to my repertoire leaving me more patient and relatively peaceful.
