Where Does The Ocean End?

I always wondered why I liked the ocean so much…was it because it was endless..never changing?...I really don’t know. I guess I like it because it is the one thing that always stays still, in a world where everything changes in a snap the ocean is the only thing that remains the same. My love for beaches is from the very beginning of my time on earth (a little melodramatic?..I know..but kind of fits in with the context) . Out of all the wonderful landscapes that I was provided with I was somehow always inclined to water. The way it flowed, the way the waves made a swirling pattern and the water almost slipped out of my toes whenever I stood near it, the way it always went back to where it came from, the way it hit the soft sand and took some of it away but always gave it back. It was like this vast body of seamless blue that stretched for miles on end. I looked as far as I could but never did find anything behind that distant blue line of horizon. Looking at it always made me wonder” where did the ocean end? Was there an end?”...or was it something infinite.. separating somewhere and joining somewhere else. Just a vast system of water flowing through the surface of earth and filling it’s crevices with life and beauty .The play of nature’s colors on water cannot be captured even by the world’s most talented painters. The sunset and sunrise look a 100 times prettier if they are looked upon beyond the vast trenches of waves. Each reflection shows a different face of the sun, engulfing the wave capturing the reflection with different shades of the same color; I didn't even imagine that there could be so many types of shades present in one color…let alone see them! Anyway, I love the ocean because it has never let me down, was always there when I needed it…at the same place waiting. I guess I understand why human beings are so complex and their lives, filled with problems..because they move too much, try to change things too fast without knowing what they are leaving behind, without even realizing that the things they let go will never be there when they come back and will be lost forever(as unlike the ocean, the world does not wait) .  That is why I would pick the ocean before a human any day of the week…. as the ocean is never in a hurry to change, never overlooks the small things, is forever constant, always where it was and will be.

P.S- Sorry I waited for so long to write..was not getting the proper inspiration..I hope you like it..and please let me know what your favourite landscapes are…(even if they don’t exist)….

Signing Off…Good Day…my moving humans.
